I help both landlords and tenants with their commercial property development, leasing and management issues. I enjoy the complexity of the deals and working with my clients as part of a team to ensure projects progress to deadline.
I’ve been immersed in commercial property law since 1998. This includes three years working in Sydney on a range of commercial property and tenant leasing and development work.
I am able to view deals from both sides of the table. This helps me achieve better outcomes for my clients as I can show them the big picture and then narrow it down to what really matters for them.
I adapt my approach to my clients. They tell me I’m accurate and detail focused and that I provide practical and commercial advice. I tell my clients if I think they’re doing anything wrong but I very much focus on finding ways to ensure they can do something rather than reasons why they can’t.
My days of diving, tramping, yoga and running seem to have taken a back seat these days to doing up our home and spending time with our two young boys. Nowadays, when I have time, I love nothing better than trying to steal a few minutes to enjoy a glass of wine while reading a good book.
