I enjoy working with people and being a part of what they do. My approach is to get to know my clients, to find out what drives them and what they want. I then work alongside them, anticipating problems, in order to get them the outcomes they need.
I’m passionate about commercial property law. I started working in this field in 1987 and have never wanted to do anything else. I enjoy the diversity of my practice and the types of clients that I work for which range from retail chains, large scale private investors and developers and private clients.
I particularly like negotiations and, as a result of my practice over the years involving acting for both landlords and tenants, I can appreciate the needs of both parties and therefore know how best to push our clients’ interests through.
I like being outdoors, which I attribute to my King Country dairy farm upbringing. I love spending time and having fun with my kids and also enjoy music, movies and watching sport, particularly rugby and rugby league.
